THE CONSULTATION
During the consultation, the knowledge and experience of the Trichologist are used to establish the nature of the problem.
Hair is very sensitive and reflects factors such as poor nutrition, systematic problems, medications and stress. The Trichologist identifies the cause of the problem and where possible, treats it.
As part of the diagnosis, the Trichologist may analyse the hair microscopically or have it analysed for its mineral levels or suggest having blood tests done.
Once the problem has been identified, the Trichologist will discuss the cause with the patient and decide whether the problem requires topical and or internal treatment and if so which treatment would be beneficial.
